8x10 inch unframed poster of Daily Painting #182, KWA (EAGLE KACHINA), by John Farnsworth

"While the Kwavahu Eagle Dancer Kachina is seldom seen, and then usually in a night dance with the Koyemsim, or Mudhead Kachinas, it is nonetheless a favorite among carvers and collectors of Kachina dolls. The small feather hanging from the beak represents the breath of the Eagle, which carries the prayers of the Hopi for moisture, good crops, and abundance up to the clouds. Along with the Ogres, the Mudheads, the Wolf Kachina, and Crow Mother, the Kwavahu, or Kwa Kachina is also a favorite of mine that I have painted many times. I especially like the intimacy of this close-up version. This Kachina is also sometimes referred to as Kwa Hu or as Kwaa."

-John

SIZE: 8x10 inches

This is a common frame size, or you can just pin it to the wall if you're wanting a more casual look. Renting? Framing it and leaning it against the wall on top of a dresser or shelf looks great!
